First time at Bob Evans. We used to laugh at the name and joke that we were taking each other there for a meal, but we finally decided to give it a go. Everyone who took care of us was very friendly, and you could tell it was recently remodeled. It was fairly clean. The food was well-priced and seemed on par with Perkins. Will be back.

My wife and I have been at this restaurant several times. If nothing else they have been consistent. Consistently very, very good. Excellent coffee, quick service, great deals, large servings, excellent coffee and very clean. You can't beat their prices and oh did I tell you about their excellent coffee? We have had the same waitress who was excellent: LINDA.

Bob Evans is tasty but full of sodium and sugars. Good place to go if you don't care about health . Chicken pot pie 2600g. Sodium... 2 days worth of salt. Waiter was nice quick with food. I won't ever eat in the restaurant chain again.

Ate here for the first time after passing by many times. Even though there seemed to be a lot of people waiting me & my bf were seated in 15 minutes. The food was good & came out quickly (thank goodness because I was starving!). One thing I did like was that they had a few hot drinks that were inexpensive & you could get free refills on. For sure a good breakfast/brunch place.

As always a good meal with quick and friendly waiters. Close to home. Heard it may be closing. Sure hope not.

If i could give less than one star I would. Our service here was absolutely horrendous and after waiting over an hour for our food it was served to us cold! They weren't even that busy so i truly don't understand how this could happen. I asked for a manager but one never came. We left and went to Patsios right up the road and it was delicious with wonderful service.

Par for the course as far as an all day breakfast diner type establishment. They have a lot of pretty good breakfast breads and such to choose from and the menu has a lot of lighter options which is great for those not looking to eat the typical pancake/pork/potato meal. Staff is quick, they get the food right and they keep the place tidy. Not my first choice for breakfast in the area, but I'd choose it over Denny's all day.

From the moment we were greeted at the door by an energetic gentleman the service was outstanding! The staff was knowledgeable and ready to assist in every manner. Our server Adrianne was awesome and made the dinner enjoyable.

Been coming to this location for about 15 years. One if the nicest things about it was the counter seating. Generally we got faster service and the servers were friendly and attentive. Little things like that made this a nice, quaint place to come for a weekend breakfast. Our visit today was a disappointment. The counter was cut in half in favor of a large display full of baked goods and other items that, personally, I never cared for. I go to a restaurant to eat, not to shop for groceries. They expanded this area by taking space from the dining areas on either side, a huge design flaw on my book. They put the register in this area as well leaving the line of customers that need to pay their bills to overflow into one of the dining rooms. Major fail on that one. In the end, I understand that sometimes it is important to modernize but in this case, they have substituted a friendly, quaint atmosphere for commercialization. I believe this is a mistake as it changes the very environment they spent years creating.

The worst breakfast I ever had. Ordered a Mini Sample : 1 egg scrambled , 2 bacon strips and a biscuit. And this is what I got: 1 half cooked scrambled egg, hash fries, 3 bacon strips and A Crepe with strawberry. When I asked the waitress she said I did order the crepe, and said I could take home if I wished. she brought a container with a couple of biscuits, but that did not fix the fact that I had a pretty bad breakfast and I m not mentioning my husband's breakfast which was half cooked. Stay away from that Jon Evan's location is not good at all.

I like the food here and the service seems pretty good. The problem is my wife and I both got sick after eating at this location (twice in a row). We used to go in every Sunday morning for breakfast but haven't been back after getting ill. If they can handle whatever issue made my wife and I ill we'll probably go back but it's going to take a while for them to gain our trust again.

I love this chain restaurant, I wish they had it in Cali. They have the best breakfast. Diner style...similar to Denny's but way better. And they have ways that you can mix and match your portions so you can have waffles and a side of biscuits and gravy for under $10 (super reasonable prices). And you can also order dinner during breakfast hours for those that aren't feeling like breakfast foods. Great service, well that depends on your waitress and waiter..but ours was great at this location. They also have free wifi, so if you're from out of town and need some internet, this is your spot to be!

Breakfast is great at Bob Evans. For some reason, my kids love the place so we go for a quick dinner every now and then too. Not as impressed at dinner time although the food is decent quality. Their salmon is usually very good but not excellent. Kids choices for breakfast and dinner a really good so everyone likes to go. And that is a very good thing for a family of 5.

My six year old daughter had a coupon for a free kid's meal for her birthday. We went in, and ordered. The nice manager gave her a free bag of Tootsie Rolls! That was super nice of him! Food is great too.

This is a restaurant that has gone downhill in my opinion. I used to frequent their eateries in the Midwest and it was one of my favorite breakfast places, but I have eaten at the Fern Park Bob Evans several times, and although I get plenty to eat, I am usually not satisfied with the quality of their food or their service. They are just a small step above Dennies.

I visited this location three (3) time, to have Their Turkey Dinner and all (3) times they served carrots that were old and gray, the last time was this pass weekend 6/14/13 Even their turkey was bad. And I told them (2) times before, if they can't get it right the third (3) they will never get it right. What a waste.....

You can't put lipstick on a pig. The Fern Park location was recently "remodeled". Front counters were updated, bathrooms perked up, tables switched out. Problem is the same old ratty, tattered carpets remain and the booths really need plumping up. The restaurant floor was not clean when we arrived. We went for dinner at around 6pm. Service was fair to midland. Our server, who was just so-so, forgot to come back to check on us. We would have liked drink refills and more napkins. I overheard her telling another customer that she had been there since 8am. My drink was not as requested. And, I ordered the "smaller" Savor Size and was served a regular portion. When I asked the waitress whether she had given me Savor Size, she said "I didn't hear you ask for it." No apology. My immediate thought was "you are the waitress, if there are options, and you "didn't hear" me ask, you should have asked". On the kids menu, we didn't see an "upcharge" stated on the menu. But were charged for one. If there is an upcharge for an item, I think it should be mentioned. As for the positives, my portion was hearty. Food was well seasoned and hot. Special requests were fine- the ones that the waitress got right, anyway. Overall so-so.

I had breakfast here yesterday (the first time I've ever eaten in a Bob Evans) and found the place a pretty good joint. While the food's not as good as, say, a Denny's (on the high end) or a Waffle House (in that oh-so-dirty but oh-so-tasty low end), it definitely beats out IHOP as a place I'd go get breakfast in the morning. I ordered a "Bob-rrito" (thank you for adding that particular worthless portmanteau to my language, Bob Evans) there, since I'm a fan of the breakfast burrito, and it was quite good, with the exception of the fact that it was covered in cheese sauce and, as such, notably not a finger food. The whole point--to me--of a breakfast burrito is that you should be able to pick it up and scarf it down at high speeds. I also shared a friend's Apple Pie Fries, which should be featured in thisiswhyyourefat.com , and found them an unobjectionable sweet snack. Their pancakes are pancakey and their food is, in general, American standard without any unusual flair or details. I'd say it's a safe choice when you're looking for standard American food. Anyone who's a friend of mine on Yelp will see that I am a discriminating burger eater; I will turn my critical eye here some afternoon and see how their burger fares.
